The Portfolio Credit Risk Management role oversees portfolio risk management activities to minimize credit losses and potential damage to the Citigroup franchise or reputation. The role includes developing business strategies, calculating CECL reserves, conducting stress tests, loss forecasts, and managing risk appetite for the First Line of Defense (1LOD). For the Second Line of Defense (2LOD), the role involves providing effective oversight and periodic review and challenge of 1LOD portfolio management processes and outcomes. Individuals in this role ensure credit risk is managed effectively across all portfolios, protecting the company's financial stability and reputation while supporting the overall business strategy.

Responsibilities

  • Actively participate in the development and optimization of Concentration Risk Appetite and Limit policies, ensuring their adherence and uniformity.
  • Assist in the implementation of Concentration Risk Appetite and Limit policies, processes, and associated initiatives.
  • Prepare risk management presentations for the deliberation of senior management.
  • Aid in the execution of ERM Framework components.
  • Analyze data, formulate recommendations, and communicate findings efficiently.
  • Work closely with internal teams to guarantee timely completion of program requirements.
  • Identify and escalate program risks following comprehensive review and analysis.
  • Support regulatory and audit reviews across various levels, ensuring conformity with all regulations and standards.
  • Collaborate with teams without direct reporting lines to effectively implement compliance and risk management strategies.
  • Utilize project management skills to enhance results.
  • Expand industry knowledge and make decisions based on analytical proficiency.

Qualifications

  • 5+years relevant experience
  • Comprehensive knowledge of risk identification, measurement, monitoring, control and, processes. Reporting
  • Experience in project management and program coordination.
  • Proficient in data interpretation and for risk recommendation control measures.
  • Knowledge of audit and regulatory communication processes related to risk management.
  • Extensive in risk management and issue resolution.
  • Experience in experience leading risk transformation programs and managing stakeholder relations.
  • Proven record in supporting regulatory and audit reviews, with a focus on risk management.
  • Independent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • In-depth industry knowledge and application of standards.
  • Proficiency in project management and team integration.
  • Excellent analytical and risk management skills.
  • Superior communication and collaboration abilities.
  • Ability to plan, organize, and coordinate program activities.
  • Strong time-management and ethic work under pressure. 
  • High professionalism and ethical standards.

Bachelor's/University degree or equivalent experience
