As a Commercial Relationship Manager at Associated Bank, you will manage and grow a portfolio of commercial and commercial real estate clients. You’ll drive revenue growth through lending, deposits, and cross-selling opportunities while providing trusted financial guidance. This role offers the chance to make a tangible impact on our clients’ success and expand your career in commercial banking.

TEXAS - REMOTE

Key Accountabilities:

  • Drive loan and deposit growth by proactively managing client relationships and developing new prospects.

  • Partner with internal teams to cross-sell bank products and services, including Treasury Management, Capital Markets, Private Banking, and Wealth Management.

  • Ensure portfolio administration and risk management comply with bank policies, procedures, and regulatory guidelines.

  • Analyze financial data to evaluate loan requests and recommend appropriate credit structures.

  • Provide clients with financial insights and guidance based on market trends and banking conditions.

  • Present loan proposals and participate in the bank’s credit approval process.

  • Engage in community and business events to strengthen the bank’s presence and referral network.

  • Identify client needs and connect them with the appropriate bank partners to deliver comprehensive solutions.

Education & Experience:
Required:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance, or Accounting (or equivalent combination of education and experience).

  • 8+ years of commercial banking, business-to-business sales, or business development experience with strong credit and client management skills.

  • Reliable transportation and ability to travel to client meetings.

Preferred:

  • Proven track record of cross-selling non-borrowing products and growing client portfolios.

  • Active involvement in community, corporate, or not-for-profit boards.
