[What the role is]

Be part of our Career Development team to develop, drive, promote and implement learning and development initiatives to equip SFA officers with the skills and competencies to support of SFA's mission of enhancing food security and resilience.

[What you will be working on]

What You Will Do

Shape Our People's Capabilities

Design comprehensive competency frameworks that define excellence across SFA roles and create clear pathways for career advancement. Through detailed job analysis and stakeholder engagement, you'll identify the critical skills our officers need to excel in their work.

Create Engaging Learning Experiences

Develop innovative training curricula that transform learning needs into impactful educational experiences. Collaborate with vendors and internal teams to design diverse learning solutions including interactive workshops, e-learning modules, and blended programmes that engage our workforce.

Drive Training Excellence

Formulate training policies that set the standard for learning excellence across SFA. Your policies will establish clear guidelines ensuring consistent, high-quality development opportunities that support both individual growth and organisational objectives.

Manage Training Operations

Take ownership of our training ecosystem from conception to completion. You will plan and coordinate programmes, manage vendor relationships, oversee logistics, and ensure every learning experience delivers value to participants and the organisation.

[What we are looking for]

What We Are Looking For

Your Background

Minimum 3-5 years of relevant working experience in Learning and Development, Human Resources, or a related field.

Your Expertise

Proven track record in developing competency frameworks and implementing learning programmes. Strong project management skills with experience in vendor management and training operations.
