School of Electrical and Electronic Engineering is one of the founding Schools of the Nanyang Technological University. Centre for System Intelligence and Efficiency (CSIE) harnesses and synergizes the research expertise of the School of Electrical and Electronic Engineering in the areas of control and optimization, sensing and information processing, machine learning, cyber physical systems, robotics and automation, power electronics, energy systems, and transportation systems.
We are looking for a Research Fellow to support the research for the project titled “Reinforcement learning based event-triggered prescribed-time optimal output regulation for uncertain multi-agent systems”.
Key Responsibilities:
The Research Fellow will work conduct research on the project “Reinforcement learning based event-triggered prescribed-time optimal output regulation for uncertain multi-agent systems”. The role of this position includes:
Developing novel learning-based methodologies to address the prescribed-time control problem for uncertain dynamical systems.
Designing learning-based event-triggered optimal control algorithms to achieve prescribed-time optimal output regulation for uncertain multi-agent systems.
Investigating learning-based prescribed-time adaptive cruise control strategies for mixed vehicular platoons under cyber-attacks
Publishing research results in reputable journals and conferences.
Assisting the PI drafting new research proposal
Job Requirement:
A PhD degree in relevant fields with past research focus on optimization, dynamic systems, output regulation, reinforcement learning, event-triggered control and prescribed-time control.
A strong publication record in relevant fields.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
