We are looking for someone based in our headquarters in Montreal who will act as a Finance Business Partner to support management of various cost centers:
Prepare analysis and reports for management to support business decisions and strategic initiatives.
Lead in the financial budget process of the departments
On a monthly basis, produce variance analysis, financial forecasts, as well as analysis for any potential risks and opportunities for each department
Present the budget, gap analysis and forecasts to the executive team
Prepare journal entries and provide accurate analyses when requested
Provide financial support to various groups within the company
Qualifications:
Accounting title or applicant to the profession, an asset
8 to 12 years experience in financial analysis, preferably in a manufacturing / operational environment
Experience in budgeting, gap analysis, monthly forecasting
Excellent analytical, technical, and organizational skills and ability to work under pressure and as part of a team
Ability to effectively communicate with upper management and colleagues across the company.
Ability to work under minimal supervision while respecting deadlines.
Responsible for preparing journal entries and providing accurate analysis as requested.
Provide financial support to different departments of the company
Good communication skills at all hierarchical levels.
Excellent knowledge of Excel and macros, and financial models
