About the Role
As an Inbound Delegate Sales Executive at Reuters Events, you will:
Respond to inbound inquiries with urgency, prioritizing speed-to-lead to maximize conversion rates and capitalize on high-intent prospects for our event portfolio.
Own your sales pipeline from initial contact through close, maintaining accurate CRM data and progressing leads through each stage of our proven sales process.
Hit and exceed clearly defined KPIs including response times, conversion rates, call volume, and revenue targets - with full transparency and regular performance tracking.
Execute a consultative sales approach, understanding the specific needs of senior executives and matching them with the right events and networking opportunities.
Qualify inbound leads efficiently, determining budget, authority, need, and timeline (BANT) to prioritize high-value opportunities and close individual and group delegate registrations.
Build and nurture relationships with decision makers across diverse industry sectors, maintaining consistent follow-up and pipeline hygiene to drive deals forward.
Work within a structured sales process, following proven methodologies while receiving ongoing coaching on advanced sales techniques and objection handling.
Collaborate with a high-performing sales team, sharing best practices around speed-to-lead and pipeline optimization while earning uncapped commission on every sale.
Progress rapidly with potential advancement into more consultative business development roles focusing within Delegate Relations, Team Leading or Sponsorship
About You
You're a fit for the role of Inbound Delegate Sales Executive at Reuters Events if you:
Speak English fluently with exceptional verbal and written communication skills for engaging senior executives.
Understand the importance of speed-to-lead and have a track record of rapid response times and strong conversion metrics.
Are process-driven and metrics-focused, comfortable with daily KPI tracking, pipeline reviews, and data-driven decision making.
Have experience managing a sales pipeline (CRM proficiency preferred) and can demonstrate your ability to move deals through multiple stages.
Excel at inbound sales, knowing how to qualify, prioritize, and convert warm leads while maintaining a consultative approach.
Are confident engaging C-suite executives from major organizations and can build credibility quickly over the phone.
Thrive in a target-driven environment with a competitive mindset and hunger to exceed quotas consistently.
Are motivated to progress quickly in a fast-paced, results-oriented sales culture.
Some sales experience beneficial with basic understanding of sales processes and good commercial acumen.
