Preparation of processes executed through the corporate scheduler.
In a mainframe environment, the chains submitted by the requesting unit are created or modified, adapting them to production standards. These modifications will affect file naming and retention, calculation of required space, etc.
In an open systems environment, the processes submitted by the requesting unit are created or modified. The environment must be prepared for their execution (agents, permissions, etc.) and application guidelines must be followed.
Creation and modification of schedules according to tasks submitted by the development centers for automation. This involves the creation and modification of processes and the sequences affected by the schedules, as well as requesting the necessary resources for their execution from the relevant departments. The actions will be carried out according to the specifications received, using the task management tool, adapting and scheduling them according to production standards, generating the appropriate documentation, and updating the knowledge management tool, as well as other information repositories as deemed necessary.
Creation of chains and/or modification of existing schedules to resolve any detected issues within the different production environments. The requested requests will be carried out according to the specifications received, using the task management tool, adapting and scheduling them according to production standards, generating the appropriate documentation, and updating the knowledge management tool, as well as other information repositories as deemed necessary.
Monitoring and control of planned processes: monitoring the different steps that comprise the planning process and their sequences, ensuring their timely execution and, if necessary, modifying the components of the planning processes (plans, processes, etc.) for proper execution. The tasks of monitoring and controlling planned processes are not limited exclusively to process control but also include the monitoring and control of the files exchanged with the planning processes. This activity involves generating a daily monitoring report defined for this purpose. If the change made for proper execution entails a modification to the planning process, it is mandatory to reflect this in the corporate documentation for said planning process and notify the production management planning unit, indicating the reasons for the modification, and following the procedure established in the production standards.
Interventions prior to preparing a process consist of making the necessary requests for the correct operation of a job (agent installation, FTP connections, file and machine permissions, etc.)
Control and processing of communications for file control and balance of amounts. This activity consists of processing files and emails received using established procedures, programs, and utilities. The relevant documentation must be generated and maintained for proper control and processing.
Incident resolution: This involves resolving both incidents received by users who send and/or receive information (lists, files, etc.) regarding schedules, as well as resolving previously unsatisfactory tasks (non-compliant tasks). In both cases, the established corporate tools will be used.
Planning documentation: Documents generated to help understand how the work is performed and resolve any incidents that may arise.
Addition and maintenance of planning information in the repositories developed for this purpose.
