We are seeking a Warehouse Stock Keeper II to join our team and handle a range of responsibilities including receiving, distributing, assembling, and organizing materials, products, and supplies for storage or delivery to user departments. This position is located in Rochester, NY.
Work Schedule: Mon-Fri 7:00am to 3:30pm, Weekend support as needed
Unloads and loads delivery trucks at multiple docks
High level of discretion and good judgment to ensure appropriate labeling of product and supplies.
Inspects products received to ensure product meets quality specification, verify shipping conditions and standards as noted in Product Management System (SAP)
Prepares accurate records/documentation related to receipt of materials and storage of materials
Stocks incoming products and supplies in appropriate, assigned storage areas. And retrieves materials from warehouse as needed
Maintains a clean and orderly work area
Uses computer to access product management system, time entry, on-line learning
Uses basic equipment or hand tools to perform job as necessary
Recognizes unacceptable product quality and takes appropriate actions
OT as required by the organization
Basic math and computational skills
High School diploma, GED,
6 months experience in operations/manufacturing environment
Experience with SAP product management system preferred
Basic computer skills (MS Office)
Ability to read and write English
Strong attention to detail
Troubleshooting skills
<5% domestic
Able to lift up to 50lbs and use force to pull or push up to 800lbs on devices with wheels,
Ability to work multiple shifts and overtime and weekends as needed to meet production requirements
Visual acuity, basic math and computational skills and solving of equations.

The work environment characteristics are representative of a warehouse environment. Warehouse is in Building with Temp controlled 70 degrees year-round. May require staging or moving material in or out of walk in Refrigerator or Freezer at times. Overtime available, no business travel.

The salary range for this position takes into account a wide range of factors including education, experience, knowledge, skills, geography, and abilities of the candidate, in addition to internal equity and alignment with market data. At QuidelOrtho, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. The salary range for this position is $20.75 to $23.38 hourly.
