Warehouse Laborer

Reports To: Warehouse Manager/Supervisor


Position Summary

We are seeking reliable and detail-oriented individuals to join our team as Seasonal Warehouse Laborers during our peak season from November 1 to December 31. This temporary role supports the day-to-day warehouse operations, including order fulfillment, receiving shipments, organizing inventory, and maintaining a safe, clean workspace. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment and have a strong focus on accuracy and efficiency.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Follow all warehouse procedures related to shipping, receiving, order processing, and safety protocols.

  • Accurately pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment.

  • Receive inbound shipments, inspect for damage or discrepancies, and store items appropriately.

  • Perform inventory counts and assist with cycle counting as needed.

  • Safely operate warehouse equipment and assist in loading/unloading as required.

  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.

  • Review outgoing shipments for accuracy and completeness.

  • Report inventory issues or order discrepancies to supervisor.

  • Complete all required paperwork and documentation in a timely manner.

  • Perform other warehouse duties as assigned.


Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required.

  • At least one year of prior warehouse or fulfillment experience preferred.

  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings, based on business demand.

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow standard operating procedures.

  • Comfortable using basic technology and inventory systems (familiarity with MS Office is a plus).

  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and perform physical tasks throughout the shift.

  • Strong work ethic and ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Work Environment and Physical Demands

This role operates in a warehouse environment and requires prolonged periods of standing, walking, bending, and lifting. The position may also involve operating warehouse equipment and handling a variety of products. The ability to lift up to 50 lbs. consistently and work in a fast-paced setting is essential.
