Your new role
In your new role as UI and UX Lead you’ll define the DNA of our digital experiences, delivering high-performance, accessible, and visually compelling digital experiences across our websites, apps, and campaigns. This is more than a design role, it’s a chance to architect the visual and interactive layers of our digital ecosystem, lead innovation in design systems, and drive measurable impact through conversion optimisation and performance excellence.
Key responsibilities include:
· Design & Interaction Excellence
Craft high-fidelity mockups, motion prototypes, and micro-interactions using tools like Adobe XD, Sketch, After Effects, or Principle. Apply design psychology and interaction heuristics to elevate user experience.
· Front-End Collaboration
Partner with developers to implement atomic design systems, design tokens, and component-based UI frameworks (e.g. React, Vue). Write semantic HTML5, CSS/SASS, and JavaScript (ES6+) to bring designs to life.
· Performance & Accessibility Leadership
Conduct Lighthouse audits and Core Web Vitals optimisation. Ensure WCAG 2.2 AA compliance through ARIA roles, keyboard navigation, and screen reader testing. Champion accessibility and performance across all platforms.
· Design System Ownership
Architect and maintain our enterprise-level design system and component library. Define naming conventions, token structures, and theming standards. Use tools like Storybook, Zeroheight, or
Bit.dev to document and scale.
· Conversion Rate Optimisation (CRO)
Lead A/B and multivariate testing, prototype conversion-driven UI changes, and maintain a prioritised CRO backlog. Collaborate with marketing and analytics to reduce friction and improve engagement.
· Innovation & Tooling
Explore emerging technologies like WebGL, CSS Houdini, and AI-driven UI personalisation. Contribute to reusable UI toolkits, participate in code reviews, and stay ahead of front-end trends.
· Cross-Functional Collaboration
Work closely with Brand, Content, CRM, and Marketing teams to ensure design consistency and alignment across all digital touchpoints.

You’re excited by innovation, meticulous about detail, and committed to delivering high-quality outcomes that make a measurable impact.
If you have experience in the following, we’d love to hear from you:
· 4+ years in UI/UX, front-end development, or interface design within digital teams or agencies
· Proven experience designing, coding, and deploying complex user interfaces at scale
