The Role at a Glance
Student Worker II provides general administrative support to assist with the organizational needs of the division. General responsibilities for this role include process classes into TEEXAPPS, which includes student information, grades, pushing certificates to the student’s portal, and to scan the documents when completed. Helps with making sure correct instructors are listed in TEEXAPPS from our SharePoint page. All other general offices duties as needed. The student will learn to work as a member of a team, by using customer service skills, along with communication. They will have the ability to learn to multitask and work cooperatively with others.
This position reports to the Administrative Coordinator.
Qualifications of the Role:
High School Diploma or GED.
Current enrollment in an undergraduate degree-granting program at an accredited college or university.
One year of work experience in an office setting.
Must have a valid motor vehicle operator’s license or ability to obtain within 30 days of employment.
Essential Duties, Tasks, and Percentages:
General Office Assistance – 80%
Process classes into TEEXAPPS which includes student information, grades, pushing certificates
Enters and maintains accurate data in relevant databases, spreadsheets, and SharePoint.
Copies, scans, files, sorts, and compiles records and documents.
Responds to customer service inquiries via phone and email.
Ensures instructors are correct in TEEXAPPS before the class starts.
Cleans up suspect data for all online courses.
Other Divisional/Program Responsibilities – 20%
Helps facilities Coordinator when needed.
Maintains and safeguards assigned divisional equipment and property.
Assist supervisors with projects that need to be completed.
Performs additional work duties as assigned.
