Job Summary

The Sr Video Producer will lead the Mountain America video team in producing rich video content for broadcast, social media, web channels, and all LED signs owned by the Credit Union. They will work closely with the SVP of Marketing and VP of Marketing Services to develop video content and distribution strategies.

SCHEDULE

To be effective, an individual must be able to perform each job duty successfully.

  • Manages vendor (including contractor/talent) relationships for video/photo needs. 
  • Oversees all aspects of video/photo production including location setup, lighting, sound, props and equipment. 
  • Manage project timelines, tasks, and workflows using project management software to ensure smooth execution and timely delivery. 
  • Manages video development, filming, editing, color correcting, audio mixing and mastering, digitizing, compressing, formatting, and duplicating. 
  • Manages and maintains video, audio, lighting and photography equipment. 
  • Conceptualizes creative solutions for each assignment in line with its goals, objectives and the script. 
  • Manages the filming and broadcast of team-member facing live events including conferences, development meetings, town halls and others as requested. 
  • Works closely with other departments and stakeholders to ensure their message is clearly conveyed through video. 
  • Provides on location video/photo coverage for Public Relations and Government Affairs events and delivers video packages for our news partnerships. 
  • Collaborates with marketing team on shared video assets, equipment and scheduling. 
  • Is responsible for our video/photo assets, and further expands and enhances our internal library including b-roll. 
  • Produces high quality camera and drone footage, graphic animations, still photography, and audio recordings as assigned. 
  • Stays on top of industry advancements, i.e. gear, software, new techniques, etc. 
  • Acts as a resource for the video system and graphic design needs, and helps with training system personnel as needed. 
  • Creates and schedules video deliverables for our online digital banners and facility screens. 
  • Schedules stills and/or animations for team-member facing facility screens. 
  • Works with vendors of LED boards to quickly resolve any problems and coordinate for large scale events. 
  • Performs other duties as assigned. 

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, and ABILITIES

Experience

  • Five to seven years of experience in an in-house or agency video department
  • Experience in creating creative and professional videos

Education

  • Four-year college degree or equivalent work experience in communications preferred

Computer/Office Equipment Skills

Intermediate skill in Premier Pro and Adobe Creative Suite. Knowledge of Motion and Adobe Aftereffects, Photoshop and Illustrator. Familiar with audio recording.

Managerial Responsibility

Supervisory/managerial responsibilities that is usually restricted to assigning work and supervising the efforts of a small subordinate group of employees (typically up to 3).  Much of the time is spent performing work of the type supervised.

  • Strong ability to leverage AI tools to generate visual effects, virtual environments, and narrative assets that enhance storytelling and expand creative possibilities in video production. 
  • Familiarity with DAM systems and asset metadata best practices. 

Working Hours

Working hours will vary as necessary in order to accomplish assigned work needs. Some evening, weekend work, and travel may be necessary.
