Our Melbourne Banking & Finance team are currently recruiting a Solicitor to join our team working closely with Anne-Marie Neagle and Ian Paterson.
We are keen to hear from banking and finance lawyers with 1-3 years’ experience working on banking and finance matters who are interested in learning about and specialising in securitisation and debt capital markets. We will provide training in the specialities.

About the role
Our team advise on a full range of financial products across securitisation and debt capital markets. This role will see you draft and structure transactions for clients across different asset classes and programmes. Our clients range from major financial and government institutions, investment banks, financial advisors and regulators to industry groups, financiers and corporations.
We bring outstanding teamwork and in-depth knowledge to every transaction and work closely with each other and other colleagues around the firm.
About you
You will bring a world view, and a curiosity about the macro events and indicators that matter to our clients.
You will be commercially astute and savvy and passionate about delivering a first-rate client experience and building long term, sustainable client relationships.
You will have
Banking & finance experience with secured finance experience essential.
First rate written and oral communication skills, strong drafting and legal analysis skills, as well as an ability to get across complex areas of law quickly.
You will be self-aware, positive and have the ability to work well with others; being able to collaborate and work in a team is critical to success at KWM. In this ever changing legal and commercial landscape, you will also thrive in a culture that embraces change.
