At CrossCountry, we’re on a mission to deliver outstanding journeys for our customers and continuous improvement across our network. We’re looking for a Senior Performance Analyst to take the lead on operational performance analysis, reporting, and delay attribution — using data to uncover insights, solve problems, and influence strategic decisions across the business.
What You’ll Do
Act as CrossCountry’s senior lead for operational performance analysis, reporting, and delay attribution/resolution of CrossCountry-caused incidents.
Produce clear, data-driven insights, trends, and forecasts at both business and regional levels using Power BI.
Use robust analysis to inform and drive business change, underpinned by empirical evidence.
Compile accurate daily, weekly, period, and annual performance reports for CrossCountry’s Executive team, as well as key stakeholders including the Department for Transport and Arriva Group.
Provide actionable insights to improve route performance, highlighting key trends, risks, and opportunities.
Lead as a subject matter expert on Performance systems, tools, and processes.
What You’ll Bring
A strong understanding of railway industry performance metrics and processes.
Proven experience collaborating with a wide range of stakeholders — from front-line teams to senior leaders — and managing expectations around performance reporting.
The ability to lead complex analytical projects, investigate and resolve performance issues, and think creatively to deliver practical solutions.
Advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUPs, PivotTables, complex formulas) and hands-on experience developing Power BI dashboards.
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to turn complex data into compelling insights for non-technical audiences.

This is your opportunity to play a leading role in performance improvement across the UK rail industry — using your analytical expertise to make a real, measurable difference.
