Agropur is looking for a Senior Cost Controller to join its team in St-Hubert.
The Senior Cost Controller for centralized costing and milk payment oversees the centralized costing team (CAN-USA), the milk payment team (Canada), and acts as a business partner to the Strategic Procurement team (CAN-USA).

Salary scale 007: $115,100 to $143,900 (Base salary will be determined based on your academic background, experience, training, and skills relevant to the position.)
What’s involved in this role:
More specifically, the Senior Cost Controller’s responsibilities include:
Acting as a business partner to the Vice President of Procurement and their team on matters related to inflation, economic projects, tariffs, and other related topics.
Overseeing provincial environmental programs (e.g., Blue Box program, federal plastics registry) and ensuring compliance with reporting obligations.
Serving as the main point of contact with our external partner, Evnia.
Ensuring alignment of shared assumptions during standard cost updates in Canada and the U.S.
Leading the standardization of timelines for standard cost updates across both countries.
Ensuring the central team provides timely information on depreciation and FSP (Canada–U.S.) to the various category teams.
Acting as a liaison between category teams and the Sustain (EPI) team during the implementation of new SAP features.
Supporting category teams during transitions related to cost calculations.
Providing ongoing support to the FRESH category throughout the LEAP project.
Overseeing matters related to external audits (Canada) in collaboration with the Category Costing and Milk Payment teams.
Supervising the team responsible for milk payment in Canada, including payment processing, impacts on the dairy system, audits, plant support, continuous improvement, and the use of Macadam software and SAP SDM.
What you need to join our team:
Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance.
Minimum of 10 years’ experience in a manufacturing environment, specifically in cost analysis or manufacturing finance.
CPA designation required.
Knowledge of SAP and advanced Excel skills.
Excellent analytical and synthesis skills.
Strong oral and written communication skills in both French and English (English required to work with colleagues in other Canadian provinces).
