Job Summary
Iron Mountain is seeking an experienced Senior Associate, Credit & Collections to join our Credit & Collections team.
In this role, you will be responsible for independently managing a portfolio of accounts to minimize delinquency, assess customer creditworthiness, and proactively resolve complex billing and payment disputes.
The Senior Associate acts as a role model, providing regular guidance and assistance to other collections agents within the vertical.
What You'll Do (Responsibilities)
In this role, you will:
Independently manage a dedicated portfolio of accounts on a month-over-month basis to achieve management-set delinquency targets.
Collaborate with corporate customers and internal District, Area, Division, and Corporate teams to resolve outstanding billing issues and payment delays.
Ensure compliance with organizational standards by documenting all collection efforts, adhering to Iron Mountain policy and procedures, and staying updated with relevant industry trends.
What You'll Bring (Skills & Qualifications)
The ideal candidate will have:
A minimum of five (5) years of experience in collections, dispute resolution, billing, or revenue cycle management.
Strong knowledge of various Collections systems and advanced ability with commonly used software, including Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Word, and Internet Browsers.
Proven ability in complex problem-solving requiring independent judgment, strong analytical skills, excellent communication, and negotiation.
