Overview:

The Sales Operations Analyst is responsible for driving sales performance within the Engage business by providing data-driven insights, optimizing sales processes, and ensuring the effective use of tools and systems. This role works closely with Sales leadership, Account Executives, and other functional areas to manage bookings forecasts, pipeline measurement, territory assignments, quota setting, and a multitude of ad-hoc analyses and projects. The Sales Operations Analyst is a Salesforce.com power user and leverages Tableau and other data sources to perform analysis and drive operational excellence.

What you will do: 

  • Sales Reporting & Analytics
    • Design dashboards and reporting that provide data-driven, value-added insight into business and seller performance.
    • Analyze sales funnel metrics, conversion rates, and customer acquisition trends to inform strategy.
    • Deliver actionable insights to sales leadership to improve performance and forecasting accuracy.
  • Process Optimization
  • Identify bottlenecks in the sales cycle and recommend process improvements.
  • Support territory planning, quota allocation, and incentive modelling.
  • Partner with enablement teams to streamline onboarding and training processes.
  • CRM & Tools Management
  • Ensure data integrity and accuracy within Salesforce,.
  • Maintain account and territory assignments in Salesforce.
  • Support CRM enhancements, user training, and troubleshooting.
  • Forecasting & Planning
  • Maintain the bookings forecast and provide line of sight to specific opportunities, risks, and upsides, with the goal of driving both budget attainment and forecast accuracy.
  • Assist in building predictive models for pipeline health and revenue forecasting.
  • Participate and support quarterly business reviews (QBRs) and the weekly leadership forecast call with reporting, data insights and follow-up.
  • Support quota setting and performance tracking.
  • Additional Responsibilities
    • Understand and provide input to the sales compensation plan; educate sellers on the plan and commission calculations.
    • Provide end-user support for Salesforce and other sales tools.
    • Lead the cross-functional Demand Management Council to address future pipeline gaps.
    • Other duties as assigned.

What we are Looking For:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, economics, or a related field.
  • 2–4 years of experience in sales operations, business analysis, or a similar role.
  • Strong proficiency in Excel, Power BI/Tableau, and Salesforce.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft PowerPoint and the ability to create and deliver executive level presentations.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Strong project management skills.
  • Experience in a SaaS or technology company and familiarity with sales methodologies and performance metrics is also desirable.
