What is the Opportunity?


We have an exciting opportunity for a Reporting Team Associate to join the Reporting Team in our Bishopsgate office in London. The Reporting team, as part of GBD Client Experience, plays a key role in delivering high quality output and outcomes for our clients and the business. We are responsible for ensuring the timely delivery of all reporting throughout the client lifecycle, from fund and marketing collateral through to after sales reporting and data delivery.

The successful candidate will play an important role in managing and co-ordinating the delivery of this collateral and reporting for all of RBC BlueBay’s pooled funds and segregated mandates.


RBC’s expectation is that all employees and contractors will work in the office with some flexibility to work up to 1 day per week remotely, depending on working arrangements.


What will you do? 

  • Work in collaboration with Business Development, Client Experience and Investment teams globally to ensure the timely and accurate production of reporting collateral for pooled and segregated funds (fixed income and equity). Examples of reporting include: Segregated investment reports, alternative fund newsletters, completion of bespoke report templates and ad hoc client reporting requests.

  • Investigate and resolve any issues that arise during production of this collateral and be proactive in answering client queries received by the team.

  • Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to source, collate and manage the data required to deliver all of the above reporting collateral. 

  • Support the wider reporting team with the production of fund and marketing collateral; assist in the production and distribution of fund presentation material and pitch books, segregated review books, fund newsletters and other business supporting material.

  • Work with the broader business and / or affiliates of RBC BlueBay to ensure that we are meeting their reporting requirements; documentation has been prepared correctly and in line with regulatory requirements.

  • Support the marketing team in the production of business and product literature.

  • Work with internal and external parties to ensure strong knowledge of proprietary and third-party systems infrastructure used to support the production of reporting. Utilise this system knowledge to build automated reporting solutions for reporting deliverables to streamline process and minimise operational risk.

  • Continually seek areas of improvement and automation, identifying and implementing efficiencies as well as taking an active role in projects that will enhance client service, add value to the client relationship and benefit the team.

  • Support the design, maintenance and update of policy and procedure documents for all reporting obligations to meet audit requirements.

What do you need to succeed?
Must-have 

  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills and strong attention to detail.

  • Establishes and maintains good relationships and works effectively and cooperatively with others. Communicates constructively, engages others positively and readily shares information and ideas

  • Capacity to grasp new concepts/information quickly and adapt to changing work situations, as well as and a positive ‘can do’ attitude.

  • Strong organizational skills are essential to effectively respond and prioritize tasks effectively in light of changing workloads, as is the ability to demonstrate rigorous attention to detail, and ability to produce quality work whilst meeting deadline.

  • Detail orientated and competence in working independently with minimal supervision and take ownership of tasks, as well as operate collaboratively to support team members on shared projects/team tasks.

  • Desire to build a career in asset management.

Nice-to-have 

  • University degree or equivalent.

  • Prior experience in a reporting focused role is beneficial as is previous asset management experience.
