The Role
The PWM Senior Associate will be a key member of the Strategic Partnership Team, working collaboratively to deliver exceptional service to wealth management clients. This individual will focus on business development and relationship management across wealth management firms, licensees, independent financial advisers (IFAs), and platform partners. Success in this role requires building a deep understanding of Blue Owl’s investment strategies and product offerings, while actively engaging in client communication and outreach. Regular travel will be necessary to strengthen relationships and support business development initiatives, ensuring Blue Owl remains a trusted partner within the private wealth ecosystem.
Responsibilities
Drive distribution growth by expanding engagement with Independent Financial Advisers, large licensees, and platform relationship managers to increase adoption of private market solutions.
Build and maintain high-impact relationships through product presentations, training, and ongoing client service.
Develop and strengthen relationships with adviser wealth platforms and key stakeholders at multiple organizational levels.
Maintain deep knowledge of firms’ platforms, manager evaluation processes, firm initiatives, and investment trends.
Develop a strong understanding of Blue Owl’s investment products and solutions.
Educate advisers and platform teams on Blue Owl’s alternative investment strategies and offerings.
Assist in developing and executing strategic marketing plans, identifying opportunities, and measuring results.
Respond to internal and external requests with urgency and a client-first mindset.
Qualifications
Minimum of 5 years of relevant industry experience.
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education required.
Experience in alternative investment management, ideally with a focus on credit products such as private debt and/or private equity.
Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to quickly understand and articulate Blue Owl’s investment strategies, differentiators, and competitive advantages.
Highly motivated with the ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, multitask, and meet deadlines.
Proven ability to thrive in a team-oriented sales environment that values collaboration and information sharing.
