Wells Fargo is seeking a Principal Technology Banking Relationship Manager to join our Charlotte technology banking team. In this role you will:
Serve as an expert advisor to lead highly complex and substantial cash flow and real estate loans and certain other industry specific solutions with Mid-Corporate clients having enterprise impact, high risk or significant scope, by analyzing financials, presenting to clients, and coordinating with internal stakeholders
Strategically lead and resolve for full suite of solutions offered by Wells Fargo to Mid-Corporate clients to meet the most complex and significant needs across multiple areas of the enterprise that may require an in-depth evaluation, by engaging product organizations to develop client specific solutions, leveraging a solid understanding of clients’ businesses, strategic objectives, operational priorities, and financial positions; may coordinate highly complex activities and resolutions.
Provide vision, leadership, and industry expertise regarding Mid-Corporate Relationship Management company wide strategies that significantly influence the organization's business and financial operations
Strategically lead all levels across the enterprise to improve processes and risk control, resolve client issues while achieving Wells Fargo’s business objectives, and represent the company externally; serve as an expert advisor to leadership, represent the company externally as an expert and act as a mentor for less experienced colleagues
Review, understand and offer the full suite of solutions offered by Wells Fargo to commercial clients to meet the most complex needs that may require an in-depth evaluation, by engaging product organizations to develop client specific solutions, leveraging a solid understanding of clients’ businesses, strategic objectives, operational priorities, and financial positions
Drive relationship planning activities to deliver the full suite of solutions and maintain sales and pipeline disciplines, by keeping information current in relevant systems such as Customer Relationship Management systems
Strategically lead and support Business Development Representatives in sourcing new Commercial Banking clients, by cultivating relationships through your existing network
Required Qualifications:
10+ years of Mid-Corporate Relationship Management experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Desired qualifications:
Comprehensive knowledge and understanding of core banking products and services, such as commercial lending and treasury management
Successfully completed FINRA Series 63 and 79 exams to qualify for immediate registration (or FINRA recognized equivalents)
Completion of formal credit training program
Commercial banking account relationship management for clients with annual revenue of $100MM to $2B
Demonstrated experience working collaboratively to deliver the organization to clients and prospects
Demonstrated experience generating new client relationships, building and retaining long-term client relationships
Experience identifying and mitigating risk, ensuring compliance with processes and procedures
Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills

Obtaining and/or maintaining appropriate Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) license(s) is required for ongoing employment in this position. In addition, state registration, specific product licenses or SAFE licensing may apply. Additional requirements include meeting enhanced financial fitness and criminal background standards. Wells Fargo will initiate the FINRA review process at the time of offer acceptance.
Obtaining FINRA Series 63 and 79 licenses, or equivalent must be completed within 180-days of date of hire if not immediately available to transfer upon hire. FINRA recognized equivalents will be accepted.
Compliance with state law registration and licensing requirements is mandatory.
Specific compliance policies may apply regarding outside activities or personal investing; affected employees will be expected to provide information to the Wells Fargo Personal Account Dealing Team and abide by applicable policy requirements if hired. Information will be shared about expectations during the recruitment process.
For specific FINRA qualification exams obtained after 9/30/2018, the Securities Industry Essentials (SIE) exam co-requisite may also be required.
This position is subject to FINRA Background Screening Requirements, including successful completion and clearing of a background check. Internal transfers are subject to compliance with 17 CFR 240.17f-2 of the Securities Exchange Act of 1934 and FINRA Bylaws, Article III, Section 3, which states that Associated Persons should not be subject to statutory disqualification. Successful candidates must also meet ongoing regulatory requirements including additional screening and are required to report certain incidents.

Reflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to achievements, skills, experience, or work location. The range listed is just one component of the compensation package offered to candidates.
