Course: Practice of Law
This course focuses on three major areas of success required to become a successful legal practitioner: legal reasoning and analysis, practical legal research and writing, and "soft" skills of the legal profession such as the ability to gather information from persons and to communicate with persons in the legal arena.
What You Will Do:
- Facilitate classroom lecture and discussions
- Engage students in learning course objectives and topics
- Assess student performance and mentor success in the classroom
- Provide a positive example to students by supporting the University’s Doctrinal Statement, Ethical Position Statement, and Mission of Grand Canyon University
What You Will Bring:
*Teaching Experience Required
- PhD in Government OR
- Political Science OR
- Politics OR
- Philosophy OR
- JD
- OR Master’s in above areas
- Exceptions may be granted to individuals with Master’s in any field with 9 graduate credits in Government AND substantial teaching experience
