Your New Role and Responsibilities  

Join our team as a PMO Coordinator, playing a critical role in supporting the Program Management Office for a major Federal Government initiative.

While you will report day-to-day to the Deputy Program Manager, you will be accountable for delivering PMO functions and ensuring governance, financial control, and operational excellence across the program.

Key Responsibilities: -

  • Lead financial management activities across the PMO, including forecasting, variance analysis, workforce planning, and project financial controls, demonstrating strong financial acumen and advanced Excel capability.

  • Manage core PMO governance and operations, coordinating planning workshops, reporting, process documentation, and audit compliance to ensure smooth program delivery.

  • Serve as the central coordination point for program administration, onboarding/offboarding, information management, and stakeholder support.

  • Drive risk and issue management, facilitating reviews, tracking mitigations, and maintaining program-level visibility of key risks.

  • Oversee program communications and engagement, producing regular stakeholder updates, maintaining consistent messaging, and coordinating program events and recognition activities.

What You’ll Bring to Make An Impact  

  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities and a proven capacity to use initiative to resolve issues.

  • Experience with Microsoft SharePoint, including management of information systems and repositories; Power BI reporting skills will be highly regarded.

  • Solid understanding of project and program management principles, supported by PMI CAPM or PMP certification; experience in financial planning and control within projects/programs.

  • Ability to problem solve and collaborate with team members to find the solution.
