Order Management Delivery Team Leader

The Order Management Team Leader oversees and develops a team of Order Management Professionals, ensuring efficient handling of customer orders in line with Flender processes and standards. This role involves guiding, coaching, and supporting the team, managing reporting and commercial activities, and driving effective, profitable operations within the assigned area of responsibility.

Description

  • Coordinates overall planning and monitors the status of incoming customer orders and decides on the allocation of Order Management resources.  
  • Ensures constant communication to customers, contractors, or other stakeholders by the team or him/herself when escalated.  
  • Manages or contributes to ongoing optimization processes to ensure rationalization potential, optimize productivity, and meet safety requirements.  
  • Collaborates with the Sales Department during the bidding phase to ensure commercial topics are addressed to mitigate risk using the OAP (Order Assessment 
  • Process) process where applicable.
  • Process and manage allocated customer projects.
  • Provides guidance to technical partners in commercial (Terms and Conditions) matters.  
  • Ensures collaboration with financial partners (Business Administration) on customer-related finance topics (letter of credit, guarantees, credit limit, upliftment's, etc.).  
  • Responsible for technical and commercial correctness, and hand-over-process of orders.  
  • Responsible for identifying and mitigating risk within his/her assigned team. 
  • Responsible for revenue forecasts, margin review, and variance analysis. 
  • Drives and monitors departmental objectives agreed for each financial year. 

Requirements

  • Must have at least 3 -5years working experience within a Projects and Manufacturing, and Service environment.
  • Must have a Business-related Diploma or relevant tertiary qualification.
  • Strong technical understanding will be advantages.
  • Must have good working knowledge of SAP and Microsoft applications.
  • Strong attention to detail and mathematical abilities.
  • Able to work within strict deadlines.
  • Must have strong customer service focus.
