The Services Operations Engineer Intern position offers a unique opportunity for students to gain hands-on experience within HP’s dynamic MultiJetFusion team. This role is ideal for individuals passionate about innovation, customer service, and operational efficiency in the rapidly evolving field of Additive Manufacturing. The intern will work closely with cross-functional teams, supporting the delivery and enhancement of services that enable customers to achieve exceptional results with HP Additive Manufacturing Solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor and analyze service performance metrics, preparing reports and recommendations for process improvements.
  • Collaborate with technical and engineering teams to facilitate preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and remote support for customers.
  • Participate in the development and implementation of new service initiatives, tools, and training programs.
  • Contribute to the enhancement of customer experience by identifying opportunities to streamline operations and exceed service level agreements.
  • Engage in continuous learning to stay current with HP MJF technologies, industry trends, and best practices in Additive Manufacturing and service operations.

Requirements:

  • Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree program in Industrial Engineering, Organizational Engineering, Operations Management, or a related technical/scientific discipline.
  • Fluency in English (spoken and written) is required.
  • Exposure to manufacturing processes, 3D printing, or digital technologies is desirable.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and adaptability in a fast-changing environment.
  • Excellent communication skills, able to collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders in multicultural teams.
  • Customer-focused mindset with a proactive, results-driven approach.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ability to learn new digital tools quickly.
