WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR: 

As an Analyst, Offboarding, Account Operations, UK/Europe, you will be responsible for handling the end-to-end account closure and offboarding process for business members in compliance with internal policies, regulatory requirements, and UK/EU financial regulations. This role requires strong attention to detail, analytical thinking, customer empathy, and the ability to collaborate effectively across teams and stakeholders.

ABOUT THE ROLE: 

  • Executing the end-to-end account offboarding process, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Handling internal and external transactions linked to account closure.
  • Working on targets with defined SLAs and turnaround times.
  • Performing investigations to resolve issues in offboarding requests.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams (e.g.,KYC, Risk, Legal) to resolve complex cases.
  • Communicating with members via written channels, addressing queries with empathy and clarity.
  • Ensuring complete and accurate documentation of offboarding cases for internal and external reporting.
  • Identifying process gaps and supporting enhancements to improve efficiency and member experience.
  • Participating in remediation projects and ad-hoc initiatives related to account operations.
  • Ensuring compliance with UK/EU regulatory requirements and Tide’s internal policies.

  • You have prior experience in a fast-paced operational or financial services environment.
  • You have knowledge of basic banking operations, preferably in account closure or payment operations.
  • You have excellent English and strong written communication skills.
  • You are customer-focused and able to handle sensitive member interactions with empathy.
  • You are comfortable with data, spreadsheets, and reporting tools.
  • You have strong observation, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
  • You can prioritise, multitask, and manage time effectively in a target-driven environment.
  • You are proactive in spotting recurring issues and contributing to process improvements.
  • You thrive in a collaborative, team-oriented culture.
