Position Summary
We are looking for a proactive and experienced Health Coordinator to lead the implementation and sustainment of our Occupational Health Management System. This role is essential to maintaining a high standard of employee health and wellness, ensuring effective recovery support, and contributing to overall workplace productivity. The Health Coordinator will oversee medical department operations, manage health-related programs, and collaborate across teams to promote a safe and healthy work environment.

Position Overview
The Health Coordinator will be responsible for managing job-related incident cases, maintaining employee medical records, and coordinating medical consultations and emergency responses. This role includes overseeing preventive health strategies, supporting ergonomics initiatives, and ensuring compliance with government health insurance procedures. The Health Coordinator will also lead the development of occupational health protocols, manage the health office budget and supplies, and provide specialty care to employees.
Additional responsibilities include developing industrial hygiene programs (e.g., hearing conservation, respiratory protection), supporting wellness policy development, and addressing emerging health issues such as COVID-19 or other public health concerns. The role involves conducting training programs to meet regulatory compliance, managing injury/illness reporting, and administering return-to-work programs. Collaboration with Human Resources is key to managing medical leave policies and ensuring seamless support for employee health needs.
