About the opportunity
This position is based at Mercy Hospital for Women, and encompasses a caseload across inpatient, outpatients and the Emergency Department
This position is for a 4 day per week Social Work role at Grade 2, with year to be determined
This position will form part of an integral multi-disciplinary team and will be required to provide highly responsive and felxible services to consumers while upholding a high level of professionalism and practising within core values of Mercy Health
The team sits within the Social Work Department which encourages continued learning, the fostering of supportive collegiate relationships and promotes staff wellbeing, within a dynamic, fast-aced setting
What you’ll bring
Demonstrated time-management and organisational skills, strongly developed multidisciplinary teamwork capabilities and ability to supervise Grade 1 Social Workers and students
Adaptive, creative, with a commitment for patient focsued care
Prior hospital experience is highly desirable, as is experience working in women's and childrens services
You will also be required to provide evidence of, or in the process of obtaining:
A current Police Record Check and Working with Children Check.
Proof of current influenza vaccination and other vaccination status consistent with public health orders.
