About the location:
Four Seasons Resort Mallorca at Formentor, perched on the spectacular Formentor Peninsula and surrounded by panoramic views of the Mediterranean and the stunning landscape, first opened its doors in August 2024 following an extensive restoration and renovation of the historic property, originally inaugurated in 1929 on a vast private estate. After its successful debut, the resort will reopen to guests in March 2025, reaffirming its status as a unique destination of luxury and elegance on the island.
About the role
As a Learning and Development (L&D) Intern, you will support the design, implementation, and evaluation of training programs that enhance employee skills, engagement, and performance. You’ll collaborate with the L&D team and other departments to research learning methods, assist with content creation, coordinate training sessions, and gather feedback for continuous improvement.
What you will do
Support the development, organization, and delivery of employee training programs and learning initiatives.
Assist in creating engaging training content including presentations, guides, and e-learning modules.
Coordinate logistics for in-person and virtual training sessions, including scheduling, communications, and materials preparation.
Help manage the Learning Management System (LMS) by uploading content, tracking learner progress, and troubleshooting issues.
Conduct research on industry best practices, new learning tools, and methodologies to inform L&D strategies.
Collect and analyze feedback from training sessions to identify areas for improvement.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams and subject matter experts to support team-wide development goals.
What you bring
Education: Currently pursuing a degree in Human Resources, Education, Psychology, Business, or related field.
Passion: Genuine interest in learning, employee development, and helping others achieve their potential.
Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills in English and Spanish.
Organization: Excellent attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Collaboration: Proactive and team-oriented mindset with the ability to work both independently and cooperatively.
Technical skills: Familiarity with Microsoft Office (especially PowerPoint and Excel); experience with LMS platforms or content creation tools such as Canva, Articulate, or Captivate is an advantage.
Curiosity: Eagerness to learn about modern L&D strategies, digital tools, and innovative training methodologies.
Professionalism: Positive attitude, adaptability, and a strong sense of responsibility.
