Job Description

About the Role:

This position will support the continuous growth of Global Fixed Income business in Asia region and requires lots of client facing responsibilities.  This person is responsible for supporting the Portfolio managers and Client portfolio managers in refining strategies, developing presentations and providing customized material for clients.  Key responsibilities include coordinating, reviewing, and monitoring RFPs, RFIs, and questionnaires from clients; Gathering data and materials for Client presentations; working closely with Portfolio Managers and CPMs in Fixed Income, as well as with various internal/external groups to support key client management activities for Fixed Income business in the region. 

Responsibilities of the role:

  • Manage and support month- and quarter-end product marketing update process
  • Assist in answering RFP/RFI questionnaires, new business tenders, proposals
  • Prepare client presentations and marketing materials
  • Coordinate efforts between departments (i.e., marketing, legal/compliance, finance, operations)
  • Serve as representative and/or participate in client meetings, presentations and fund performance reporting, especially for intuitional clients, with the supervision of Senior CPM.
  • Communicate with clients verbally and in writing.  Write weekly, monthly and quarterly client letters and fund reports; these generally include discussion of portfolio performance, performance attribution and portfolio change.
  • Participate in regional /global meetings in regards to large pitch, due diligences, etc.
  • Assist and support the effort in introducing / business development our Global Fixed Income products to our Asian clients.

Requirement for the Role:

  • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent educational qualification) in finance, economics, math or other business-related field of study is required.
  • 1-2 years’ working experience. Fresh graduates with strong motivation are welcome to apply.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills in both English and Mandarin. Cantonese is a plus. Ability to communicate consistently and professionally with internal and external clients globally.
  • Fluency in Excel, PowerPoint and other Microsoft office applications.
  • Team player who is comfortable in a collaborative team-oriented environment
  • Excellent presentation skills
  • Initiatives to build a performance oriented fixed income capability in a competitive market place
  • Open minded, flexible, and willing to listen for other people’s opinions
  • Effective interpersonal skills necessary to effectively manage and influence behaviors both within the team and organization-wide
