Over the past 3 decades, DB has established a strong market position in flow rates among Japanese clients.
With the shift in monetary policy, JPY interest rates are rising to levels not seen in more than 10 years. We believe that this structural change in the market will lead to client needs that are quite different from those in the recent past. Given this backdrop, we are looking to hire a salesperson to focus on Rates Solutions business with Japanese banks (both large banks as well as prefectural banks) and insurance companies. This position will reside within the Institutional Financing & Solutions team in ICG Japan, coordinating closely with FIC Trading and FIC Structuring to deliver duration management, hedging, and structured investment solutions to clients.

Your key responsibilities:
VP/D level position within ICG Japan.
Focus will be on expanding rates solutions business for banks and insurance companies in Japan.
Your skills and experience:
Deep knowledge and understanding of domestic and international interest rate markets. Extensive knowledge of derivatives and structured products in the area of Rates Solutions.
Extensive knowledge of regulations, accounting, etc. for each client.
Experience in sales to life insurance companies and banks. Strong relationships with target clients.
Proven track record of executing transactions/deals/projects by communicating with clients and providing solutions using a consultative approach.
Experience in close communication with trading and structuring desks in overseas offices.
Education to University degree level
Native level Japanese and fluent in English
Very strong and persuasive communication skills in English and Japanese
Good communication and influencing skills
Sales motivated, personable and able to develop & maintain relationships.
JSDA1 qualification holder preferred
