Air Liquide is looking for a dynamic and experienced HR Business Partner to join our HR department at our Madrid office in Spain. Reporting directly to the HR Director, you will be the primary HR point of contact for a specific business line. You will play a crucial role in supporting our internal customers and promoting Air Liquide Group policies and best practices.


 

How will you CONTRIBUTE and GROW?


 

Your main responsibilities will be to act as a strategic HR partner in the following key areas:

  • Strategic Partnership: Work closely with internal customers to understand their needs and liaise with HR specialists (Learning, Total Rewards, HR Digital Solutions, Talent Acquisition, Talent Management and Employee Experience) to propose and implement effective HR solutions aligned with the company's overall HR strategy.

  • Organisational Development: Support the business line with organizational design and development initiatives.

  • Talent Management: Oversee job rotation, internal mobility, performance evaluation processes, talent acquisition, and succession planning, ensuring alignment with the function of the COE (Centre of Expertise).

  • Compensation: Contribute to compensation management and ensure adherence to national collective agreements in line with the procedure defined by the COE function.

What you'll bring:

We're looking for a highly motivated individual with a solid HR background and a strategic mindset.

Requirements:

Education: A Master's degree in HR is preferred.

Languages: Proficiency in both English and Spanish is essential. Portuguese is an asset.

Experience:At least 5-8 years' experience in HR, with a proven track record as an HR Business Partner or HR Generalist.

Previous experience in the industrial and/or chemical-pharmaceutical sector would be advantageous.

Conflict management and negotiation: Proven ability to navigate and resolve conflicts and strong negotiation skills.

Organisational and time management: Strong ability to prioritise tasks, manage time efficiently and maintain a high level of organisation.

Customer & results-oriented: A deep understanding of internal customer needs, balancing these with company priorities to deliver results.

Proactivity and problem solving: Taking a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues and demonstrating strong problem-solving capabilities.

Confidentiality: Discretion and the ability to handle sensitive data with complete confidentiality.

Travel: Availability for business travel as required.
