Executive Talent Research Partner (Remote)

What you will do -

As an Executive Talent Research Partner on the Executive Search team you sit at the intersection of market research, talent insights, and candidate engagement. You will act as both a researcher and talent sourcing partner, building intelligence on external talent markets while also engaging directly with senior executive prospects. In special situations, you will also lead full- life-cycle executive search projects and drive strategic pipelining initiatives for Stryker’s most critical leadership roles.

The ideal candidate is a seasoned professional who can confidently partner with senior executives inside and outside the company, influence with data-driven insights, and deliver a world-class executive talent experience.

Talent Research & Insights

  • Lead deep-dive research on companies, industries, geographies, and functional leadership talent pools.
  • Deduce talent insights from labor market data, org structure mapping, and competitor analysis to inform executive search and workforce planning.
  • Build and maintain talent slides and competitive benchmarking reports.

Candidate Sourcing & Engagement

  • Identify, approach, and cultivate relationships with executive-level candidates across multiple markets and disciplines.
  • Partner on critical searches, projects, and re-organizations.
  • Represent Stryker with professionalism and credibility while engaging with external senior leaders.
  • Build long-term relationships with passive executive talent for future opportunities and succession planning.

Strategic Pipelining

  • Design and execute proactive pipelining projects for critical and emerging leadership talent pools.
  • Partner with Talent Intelligence and Executive Talent Acquisition to connect insights with future business needs.
  • Deliver targeted pipelines that mitigate succession risk and support Stryker’s growth ambitions.

Executive Search Execution

  • In designated cases, manage the full life cycle of executive searches—from role scoping and research strategy to candidate presentation, interviews, and offer process.
  • Provide consultative partnership to senior executives and HR leaders on talent availability, market perception, and recruiting strategy.

What you need -

Required qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 6+ years of work experience
  • 2+ years of primary and secondary talent research (i.e., sourcing, org mapping, executive search)
  • Proven ability to present to, engage, and influence executive-level leaders

Preferred qualifications

  • Strong research capabilities—skilled in competitor mapping, organizational analysis, and labor market insights
  • Exceptional project management skills, with the ability to lead complex, high-visibility projects independently
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to create compelling insights and present to senior stakeholders

$87,600k - 172,300k salary plus bonus eligible + benefits. Individual pay is based on skills, experience, and other relevant factors.
