Course: Finding Success in the Electrical Trades

This course identifies and develops the career skills necessary to succeed in the electrical trades. It provides a broad overview of the industrial electrical field and provides students a general understanding of business operations and project management. Principles for goal setting and personal financial management are also covered. 

What You Will Do:

  • Facilitate classroom lecture and discussions
  • Engage students in learning course objectives and topics
  • Assess student performance and mentor success in the classroom
  • Provide a positive example to students by supporting the University’s Doctrinal Statement, Ethical Position Statement, and Mission of Grand Canyon University

What You Will Bring:

  • Preferred: 5+ years of professional experience in Professional Trades related to Electrical, Construction, Plumbing, HVAC, etc.
  • Minimum: BS in any field and experience as an online or campus instructor with teaching the use of technology
