The Role We Offer
By joining the finance team of the Civil Products division (CP), under the direction of the group leader, you will be responsible for preparing and analyzing financial information. Are you ready to:
Participate in the segment’s annual budgeting process
Prepare monthly variance analyses by comparing actual results to forecasts, budget, and prior year
Prepare balance sheet reconciliations for various accounts
Produce monthly reports and analyses to support group results presented to managers
Perform financial analyses and recommend solutions to identified issues
Act as a financial partner for a new growing business segment (air traffic controller training) and work closely with operations
Communicate key accounting information for memo preparation
Participate in month-end closing activities
Collaborate in the external audit process
Interact with various groups (consolidation, tax, treasury, internal audit, corporate group, etc.) to respond to ad hoc information requests
Contribute to implementing innovative solutions related to various processes
Participate in pilot projects for process optimization, including through AI integration
The Candidate We’re Looking For Has:
University degree in accounting or finance
Professional accounting designation (CPA or equivalent)
Minimum of four years of relevant accounting experience
Initiative and critical thinking skills
Strong organizational skills, ability to prioritize tasks and work under pressure in a results-oriented environment
Strong interpersonal and relationship management skills
Experience in budgeting and forecasting (an asset)
Good knowledge of Oracle, HFM, and/or Hyperion Planning systems (an asset)
