About the location:

Four Seasons Resort Mallorca at Formentor, perched on the spectacular Formentor Peninsula and surrounded by panoramic views of the Mediterranean and the stunning landscape, first opened its doors in August 2024 following an extensive restoration and renovation of the historic property, originally inaugurated in 1929 on a vast private estate. After its successful debut, the resort will reopen to guests in March 2025, reaffirming its status as a unique destination of luxury and elegance on the island.

 

About the role 

The Food and Beverage Marketing Coordinator plays a key role in driving the visibility and success of the hotel's food and beverage offerings. This position supports the development and execution of strategic marketing initiatives, digital campaigns, and promotional events that enhance guest engagement and revenue. Collaborating closely with the F&B and operational teams, the F&B marketing coordinator ensures consistent brand messaging across all channels, leverages partnerships, and monitors performance to optimize marketing efforts. 

In conjugation with the Director of F&B, Commercial Director, and Director of PR, support through strategic thinking and execution, increase awareness and visibility of the outlets and its food and beverage offerings and team, the Restaurant & Bar Marketing Coordinator also contributes to driving traffic and revenues. Simultaneously, acts as a ‘guardian’ of the conceptual and visual identity of the relevant outlets.  

 

What you will do 

F&B Expert: 

  • Support the F&B marketing strategy, conduct market research on trends and guest preferences. 

  • Design and implement innovative programs that increase awareness of F&B, its offerings and dynamic team. 

  • Support review of outlet positioning, marketing plans, promotional calendars and KPI tracking. 

  • Work closely with F&B and operational teams to ensure brand consistency and support marketing goals.  

 

Digital Marketing: 

  • Liase with Digital Marketing team on F&B’s digital strategy included but not limited to PPC, SEO/SEM, analytics and digital advertising and e-commerce (as needed) to ensure messaging and creative is aligned across all activities and ensure marketing funds are distributed accordingly. 

  • Oversee social media accounts for food and beverage, create engaging multimedia content (photos, videos, posts) and plan digital campaigns to boost brand awareness.  

  • Work in conjunction with the PR Director on F&B's social strategy to ensure creation of content for all F&B social media accounts including ideas, execution, agency management, scheduling. 

  • Lead creatives and briefing of campaigns & strategy with the Digital Marketing Manager for F&B social media channels. 

 

PR: 

  • Liaise with PR team to ensure F&B websites are aligned with the F&B’s positioning and business objectives and creative storytelling. 

  • Oversee F&B online reputation management by monitoring and ensuring appropriate management of third-party review sites. 

  • Lead creation of Press Releases (brief to copywriters) for PR agencies. 

  • Liaise with the PR team to plan, develop the public relations strategy for the F&B outlets, such as management and follow-up with PR agency, organizing events, one-on-one interviews with media, KOL’s and key accounts that are potential for the F&B outlets.  

 

Brand/Creative: 

  • Supervise the overall storytelling and communication strategy for the culinary and social segment: website, online platforms, collateral marketing.. 

  • Oversees any R&B related photo and videoshoots to ensure all R&B visual assets are in line with the FS brand standards. 

  • Maintains Hotel’s image library and video banks with related R&B content, and obtain all signed usage rights as needed. 

  • Develop and preserves brand, visual identity and concept in all elements of the marketing process. 

  • Project manage each collateral item, including the negotiation of costs, a production timeline and the editing of each draft, and ensure final artwork is signed off by all required signees, prior to distribution. 

 

Partnership Activations: 

  • Create culinary and social experiences such as seasonal events and happenings to foster revenue opportunities through customer insights and with F&B team. 

  • Coordinate tactical promotions and events to drive incremental revenue, often in partnership with other departments and may assist with local event partnerships.  

 

People Function: 

  • Maintains positive client and media relations, develop and build strong connection with local/global press and journalists alongside the PR team. 

  • Participate in local F&B community and industry events, building a strong rapport city-wide. 

  • Attend internal meetings for F&B and will be actively involved in maintaining communication and promotional calendars.

  • Understands R&B marketplace; well-informed of market trends and user behaviors, including leading marketing strategies unique to this category and evaluating the competition’s marketing communications activities and implements change as dictated by market requirements. 

  • Photography skills and an eye for aesthetic. 

  • Proficiency with digital tools and social media platforms is essential. 

  • Demonstrate creativity and initiative. 

  • Fluent in Spanish and English; additional languages are an advantage. 

  • Legal authorization to work in Spain.

Schedule & Hours: Seasonal contract, full Time, 40 hours per week, with consecutive and rotating shifts (including early mornings, days, evenings and weekends).
