We are currently looking for a Business Insights Manager to support our Innovation & Business Excellence (IBEX) team.
Main duties and responsibilities:
The role of BIM involves being accountable for developing and communicating actionable analytics and insights that effectively shape brand strategies and tactics in specific therapy area(s). The second key aspect of the role is to improve our ways to measure and track performance and effectiveness of our salesforce and digital selling execution. The job holder acts as the business partner connecting Business Intelligence, Commercial Marketing & Sales, Medical and Finance.
Other responsibilities:
Market Insights (60%)
- Connects the dots, leveraging multiple data sources and customer insights (e.g. internal sales data, sell-out data, household-panel data, market research studies, advanced analytical models, Rx tracking) to develop powerful and leading-edge business insights
- Identifies key business opportunities and engage decision makers via compelling storytelling and sharp business recommendations
- Blends analytical, marketing, sales, and/or TA expertise and brings a “consultative” approach to the business
- Provide BU/brand strategy support (e.g. Business plan market model and forecast data support)
- Measure marketing impact and conduct brand performance tracking
- Develop forecasting models for brands to ensure predictive analytics are available for brand planning and sales forecasts
- Effectively communicate those integrated insights and proactively provides strategic thought partnership to BU heads, brand leads, and sales about HCPs, patients, and payers
- Capability Development: Identify and grow the affiliate capability in using data and analytics by identifying, sharing and training on business analysis projects
Salesforce effectiveness (40%)
- Support analysis of field deployment and targeting to ensure the field sales organization maximize opportunities
- Support pre-launch and commercial brand assessment through HCPs segmentation, opportunity sizing, targeting, and deep dive analyses
- Propose, plan, organize and support in quantitative and qualitative effectiveness of sales force and our Omnichannel campaigns and dashboard reporting
- Analyze business and team deployment on multiple quantitative and qualitative KPIs (sales-driven) and provide conclusive reports and recommendations adapted to the different needs of internal customers (BU Heads and Senior Management)
- Partner with Sales and Business Leadership to support on strategy and execute on business goals
- Engage productivity & efficiency projects along with other areas, Sales teams, in order to guarantee relevant business transformation that allows resource optimization, investment analysis and provide key analysis to support strategic business information
- Manage continuous improvement of targeting, segmentation, sizing exercise, customers categorization (Go-To-Market) models across Business Units and brands
Essential for the role
- Relevant university degree in business administration or science studies
- Fluent in English
- Background in pharmaceuticals industry or FMCG 5 years +
- Sales Force Effectiveness/market research experience is a must
- Profound skills in market and competitor analysis
- Knowledge of Finance/P&L/Forecasting
- Microsoft Excel Advanced level
- Strong analytical skills and high learning agility
- Strong leadership and influencing skills
- Superior ability to communicate, collaborate effectively
- Excellent project management capabilities
- Affinity to CRM and IT systems
Desirable for the role
- Sales experience is advantage
- Digital/Omnichannel/Multichannel experience is advantage
