Associate Business Analyst
As an Associate Business Analyst within the IQVIA IVP Product Team, you will play a key role in supporting business analysis activities for our pharmacovigilance and safety products. You will assist in understanding business requirements, documenting system workflows, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure the delivery of high-quality, compliant, and user-focused solutions for global life sciences clients.
This role is ideal for recent graduates or professionals with up to 1 year of experience who are passionate about healthcare technology, data-driven decision-making, and digital transformation in pharmacovigilance.
Role ResponsibilitiesWork closely with Product Managers and Delivery Teams to gather, analyze, and document business and functional requirements.
Participate in requirement discussions, user story creation, and backlog grooming sessions for IVP products.
Translate business needs into clear and concise documentation such as Business Requirement Documents (BRD), User Stories, and Use Cases.
Assist in validating business workflows, performing data checks, and supporting testing activities to ensure alignment with user expectations.
Contribute to creating and maintaining documentation in Confluence and tracking tasks in Jira.
Support UAT (User Acceptance Testing) and coordinate with QA teams to ensure test coverage for business scenarios.
Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product usability and process efficiency.
Gain domain knowledge in pharmacovigilance, safety case management, and life sciences data workflows.
Support communication and coordination between business stakeholders, technical teams, and project managers.
Ensure adherence to defined processes, quality standards, and documentation best practices.
Minimum eligibility criteriaBachelor’s or Master degree in Life Sciences, Pharmacy, Computer Science, Engineering, or related fields.
0–1 year of professional experience in Business Analysis or related roles within healthcare, life sciences, or pharmacovigilance domains.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, global team environment.
Technology exposureFamiliarity with Salesforce CRM, Jira, and Confluence tools.
Additional / nice-to-have criteriaUnderstanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies.
Exposure to data-driven healthcare or pharmacovigilance systems.
Awareness of regulatory compliance standards such as GxP or 21 CFR Part 11.
Basic understanding of reporting, dashboards, or data visualization tools.
