The primary duties for this position will be research, teaching and service. While strong candidates from all research areas will be considered, preference will be given to applicants with a background in Bioinformatics. Research expectations include, but are not limited to, conducting high quality methodological and collaborative research, pursuing collaborative and individual research grants, and active involvement in the consulting center.
Teaching duties include in person and online instruction in undergraduate and graduate programs of the department and the school and developing courses and tools for programs in bioinformatics and biostatistics, along with contributing to other curriculum initiatives in the department and school’s graduate and undergraduate programs. The department currently maintains a successful online MS program and an online certificate program, and a doctoral program in biostatistics. It also takes part in school based public health undergraduate and masters’ programs.
