About the Role:

The Assistant Manager for Deal Desk Operations provides leadership and direction to the deal desk team, effectively managing day-to-day operations while driving continuous process improvements and achievement of key functional and organizational goals. This role serves as a critical link between senior management and the deal desk analysts, ensuring operational excellence and strategic alignment.


What You'll Do:

Team Leadership & Development:

  • Create an inspiring team environment with an open communication culture

  • Set clear team goals related to the 'Ready for Close Won' process

  • Oversee day-to-day shift operations, leveraging key deal desk metrics to drive team focus and productivity

  • Conduct regular 1:1 check-ins with each team member

  • Coach team members on development plans for areas requiring improvement

  • Define individual team member quarterly training/development opportunities

  • Oversee the onboarding of new team members, ensuring a successful experience

  • Recognize high performance and reward accomplishments through standard CrowdStrike programs

  • Nurture team member strengths while identifying areas for improvement

Operational Management:

  • Monitor team performance and report on metrics as requested by leadership

  • Assign team members to Deal Desk projects based on interest and aptitude

  • Listen to team members' feedback and resolve issues or conflicts in a timely manner

  • Represent and advocate for team needs to senior management

  • Serve as a backup to senior deal desk managers as requested

  • Step in to perform deal desk analyst responsibilities during peak periods or resource constraints

Strategic Initiatives:

  • Foster creativity and encourage input on process/program innovation aligned with corporate growth

  • Problem-solve with team members on key business issues, working collaboratively toward solutions

  • Develop and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy

  • Collaborate with cross-functional leadership to align Deal Desk operations with broader organizational goals

  • Identify opportunities for automation and technology enhancements within the Deal Desk function

What You'll Need:

  • Bachelor's degree

  • 8-10 years of relevant experience, including 3+ years in team leadership roles

  • Prior experience in Deal Desk, Order Management, or similar function

  • Demonstrated ability to lead and develop teams

  • Strong understanding of sales operations and order processing workflows

  • Advanced knowledge of Salesforce.com and Tableau 

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Experience working in a high-growth technology environment

Bonus Points:

  • Experience in cybersecurity or SaaS industry

  • Knowledge of Order To Cash process

  • Experience managing remote or global teams

  • Project management certification or experience

  • Change management experience

Shift Timing : 5:00 PM to 2:00 AM IST

Location : Kharadi, Pune (Work from Office)
