ALMSS Customer Support Specialist
Location: Robins Air Force Base, GA
Join Leidos National Security Sector in supporting mission-critical aerospace and defense operations. As an ALMSS Customer Support Specialist, you will play a vital role in sustaining the F-16 Aircraft Structural Integrity Program (ASIP) through expert support of the Automated Logistics Management Support System (ALMSS). This system enables global depot-level logistics for Command and Control, Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (C2ISR) programs across the U.S. Air Force.
Note: This role will require on-site support (Robins AFB, GA) with hybrid/remote capabilities.
Key Responsibilities
Assist in providing daily technical and procedural support to over 85 on-site and 180 remote users across 50+ global locations.
Troubleshoot and resolve logistics issues related to 300+ Supply Chain Management (SCM) functions and 10 major system interfaces.
Deliver information analysis and reporting to the Program Management Office.
Conduct initial and ongoing training for complex ALMSS functions and new system enhancements.
Monitor Air Force logistics policy updates and assess potential impacts on ALMSS operations and customer engagement.
Collaborating closely with government ALMSS program managers, engineers, and logistics leads to ensure seamless system performance.
Manage customer expectations and proactively identify and resolve system-related challenges.
Support program activities including user issues, system portfolio management, contingency operations, Predator/Reaper ICP transition, and FIAR compliance.
Liaise with software development and operations teams to clarify logistics support requirements.
Provide legacy system expertise to the ALMSS modernization team.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree and 8+ years of relevant experience (additional experience, training, or certifications may substitute for degree).
Hands-on experience with ALMSS, Enterprise Solution-Supply (ES-S), and Standard Base Supply systems.
Familiarity with Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) wholesale systems and Air Force logistics platforms (D035, D043).
Understanding of DLA Transaction Services SCM interface formats.
Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills; ability to work independently under tight deadlines.
U.S. Citizenship; Currently possess an active Public Trust or higher level clearance. With ability to obtain/maintain a Government Common Access Card (CAC) upon hire.
