We are seeking a talented individual to join our team at Marsh. This role will be based in Bermuda and will require full time onsite.
This role is responsible for the daily administrative, bookkeeping, and treasury functions for a portfolio of clients and/or corporate accounts.
We will count on you to:
Monitor and manage BDA cash department email inbox, process payments, and prepare cheques following established procedures.
Ensure payment documentation is properly authorized, valid, and uses appropriate signatories; update signatures and bank details in GCMS.
Correspond and liaise with banks and client service teams regarding payments, queries, call backs, stop payments, and wire recalls.
Handle deposits of cheques/drafts to captive, Marsh, local, or international bank accounts and review bank accounts for incoming wire transfers.
Maintain accurate records and logs of receipts, monthly GCMS work, and update time deposits based on service team information.
Assist accounting and corporate teams with daily queries, vendor cheque distribution, and add/modify access to Butterfield accounts.
Provide coverage for other Account Administrators during absences and perform ad hoc projects as needed.
Perform other related job duties to support department operations and ensure smooth workflow.
What you need to have:
High school diploma or equivalent and proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite.
Committed to obtaining an internationally recognized professional Accounting and/or Insurance designation.
Motivated self-starter with strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage workload independently or as part of a team.
Able to work well under pressure, adapt to changing priorities, and effectively multitask.
