Actuarial - Local Reporting Intern

Singapore Part time

This role provides hands-on experience in actuarial reporting and analysis, supporting quarterly solvency reporting and contributing to regulatory submissions to MAS. The intern will assist in developing and validating actuarial models, enhance reporting processes for greater efficiency, and collaborate with sub-teams within the local reporting and capital function.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Support the quarterly solvency reporting, contributing to the preparation, validation, and delivery of actuarial reports to MAS.
  • Assist in actuarial model development, focusing on quality checking and verification of results.
  • Help enhance reporting processes and templates, driving improvements in efficiency and consistency.
  • Provide support to sub-teams within the local reporting and capital team.
  • Participate in ad-hoc tasks and projects across different actuarial workstreams and business functions.

Required Qualifications:

  • Currently enrolled in a bachelor’s degree in actuarial science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field.
  • Able to commit from May 2026 to Aug 2026
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word; VBA skills are preferred.
  • Ability to present findings clearly and concisely.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
