Accounting Supervisor – Client Services
The Accounting Supervisor oversees a team of accountants and is responsible for financial statement preparation, review and analysis for a portfolio of communities. The Accounting Supervisor works to maintain the department and as a liaison to other departments within Landmark to communicate financial and accounting reporting.
Reports to: Accounting Manager
Direct Reports: Accountant I, II, and Senior (dependent on staffing)
Duties/Responsibilities: The duties listed below are an outline of the Accounting Supervisor’s responsibilities and should not be considered an all-inclusive list. As the needs of the organization change, these duties may be modified as needed.
- Oversee a team of accountants
- Prepare miscellaneous reports for internal and external use
- Ensure accuracy of invoices entered by property staff
- Answer vendor inquiries
- Answer inquiries from property staff or company departments
- Process wire transfers, account transfers, deposits, and other banking transactions as needed
- Assists in the annual IRS 1099 process by researching and making determination as to which vendors require a 1099
- Reviews financial statements prepared by property account
- Assist with the budget process including the preparation of preliminary budgets and entering final budgets into OneSite
- Prepare consolidated financial statements
- Assist with annual audits
- Researches and corrects reconciling items from various bank accounts and coordinates with banking personnel in correcting errors.
- Reconciles and performs extensive research for various bank transactions. Creates, enters and posts adjusting journal entries to clear outstanding reconciling items on these banks
- Completion of special projects as assigned
- Assist with onboarding and offboarding of properties within the portfolio, including coordination of accounting setup, financial data transfer, and process alignment to ensure seamless transitions.
Education & Experience
- Bachelor's degree
- 3-7 years of relevant experience

- Ability to handle multiple high priority projects
