The Near Patient Care Team at Roche Diagnostics Belgium is looking for a Point of Care (POC) Workflow and IT Expert to drive the successful integration of our cutting-edge diagnostic IT solutions across French-speaking Belgium.

This is not just a support role, it’s your chance to be the technical backbone for our commercial team, providing crucial expertise that directly impacts how patient care is delivered. You'll move beyond the basics and into a high-impact role with direct customer engagement and significant growth potential.

What you will be doing

  • You'll be the go-to technical expert, connecting our innovative diagnostic systems to complex hospital IT environments.

  • Take ownership of installing and configuring our advanced digital solutions, translating customer requirements into operational excellence.

  • Work hands-on with technologies like Cloud Solutions, Virtual Machines (VMs), Network Architecture (Firewalls, WiFi), and Scripting (VBScript).

  • Dive deep into the installed base, resolving technical product and performance issues and implementing new features; coordinating with vendors to troubleshoot and innovate.

  • Act as a subject matter expert, providing high-level technical feasibility checks and support during sales processes.

  • You’ll champion Lean principles and continuous process improvement to enhance workflow efficiency and operational quality.

What you bring

We’re seeking a professional ready for their next big step.

  • A Bachelor’s or Master's degree in Computer Science, IT Engineering, or an equivalent technical field, combined with up to 3 years of hands-on professional IT experience.

  • The technical stack and proven knowledge is key:

  • Familiarity with Windows Server in a VM environment.

  • Understanding of core IT Networking Technology (e.g., Firewalls, WiFi, LAN/WAN concepts).

  • Basic knowledge of Scripting (like VBScript or similar).

  • Interest in crucial IT topics like AI, Cybersecurity and Cloud-based Solutions.

  • Any exposure to Healthcare IT standards (ASTM, HL7, Mirth) is a bonus.

  • You are curious, self-driven, and highly accountable. You enjoy problem-solving and are ready to challenge the status quo to find better solutions.

  • Fluent in French and English is mandatory. Some knowledge and the willingness to learn Dutch is a very strong asset.
