As a senior wealth management advisor, you provide leadership, develop and manage business relationships, and prospect and solicit new mass-affluent and high-net-worth Signature Service members and clients representing major development potential for the organization. You develop personalized strategies and provide tailored advice and solutions to achieve members’ and clients’ financial and personal objectives and ensure their full satisfaction. You serve as an expert advisor for the comprehensive 360° offering and for securities investment management, providing members and clients with best-in-class, tailor-made support. As business relationship leader, you develop the overall financial strategy, and you ensure the implementation of the overall offering by working collaboratively with a team of expert professionals and specialist partners from various fields. Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills are therefore essential. You work with a large member and client base, consisting primarily of professionals and business owners with diverse and complex needs. The nature of your work requires extensive, highly specific knowledge of the organization and your line of business. You ensure consistency and balance between member and client satisfaction, objectives, sound and prudent risk and compliance management, and rigorous implementation of the business model, its offerings and delivery, while leveraging your ability to achieve results. You represent Desjardins and enter the organization into agreements with members and clients. You also have opportunities to establish and negotiate product and service terms. You serve as an expert in your field, mentoring and coaching members of your team. More specifically, you will be required to:
Drum up new business and develop the full potential of existing members and clients.
Set goals and advise members and clients on the best strategies.
Develop a comprehensive 360° offering based on member and client needs.
Actively contribute to meeting sales objectives by developing action plans based on the business plan.
Monitor stock market movements and trends likely to influence investments.
Stay up-to-date on market trends and best practices in your field.
Play an active role in promotional and public relations activities and maintain a presence in the business community.

What you bring to the table
Bachelor’s degree in a related field
A minimum of 8 years of relevant experience
Please note that other combinations of qualifications and relevant experience may be considered
Certificate in Financial Planning – Autorité des marchés financiers
Approved by IIROC as a registered representative
Knowledge of French is required
