Iron Mountain is seeking a dynamic Operations Supervisor to join our Logistics Center team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing day-to-day logistics and operational functions for the facility in a cost-effective manner while ensuring internal and external customer needs are met. This role reports directly to the Operations Manager.
In this role, you will:
Lead and Develop Talent: Oversee, train, and provide performance feedback to direct reports, ensuring high productivity, efficiency, and effectiveness while fostering open communication and addressing employee issues.
Manage Operational Flow: Manage all incoming and outgoing shipments, organize merchandise, and maintain accurate warehouse inventory to support production schedules and resource allocation.
Ensure Operational Standards: Track, monitor, and report on warehouse activities and team production goals (Key Performance Indicators or KPIs) to designated personnel to inform decision-making, maintain safety standards, and correct at-risk behaviors.
The ideal candidate will have:
A minimum of 2 years of experience in warehouse or logistics leadership, with specific experience in fulfillment or e-commerce management (onsite ordering, picking, packing, and shipping).
Strong knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and the ability to monitor team production goals and dynamically meet company KPIs.
Proven ability in conflict resolution, problem-solving, and managing team dynamics in a fast-paced environment.
Proficiency in computerized applications (e.g., word processing, spreadsheet, database, email) necessary to complete operational reporting and projects.
Compensation: $73,400 - $82,600.
Shifts: 7:00 am - 3:30 pm, Monday - Friday.
Location: Victorville, CA.
