Iron Mountain is seeking an experienced Operations Supervisor to join our Warehouse & Logistics team. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operational functions in the most cost-effective manner while ensuring we meet the needs of both internal and external customers. You will lead, inspire, and drive operational excellence at the facility, reporting directly to the Operations Manager.
2nd Shift - 3:30pm - 12am Monday-Friday (Some Weekends as needed)
In this role, you will:
Lead daily operational functions by managing incoming and outgoing shipments, maintaining accurate warehouse inventory, and developing production schedules to ensure the timely completion of all job assignments.
Collaborate with direct reports and other business areas to provide supervision, training, and performance feedback, while addressing employee issues and fostering open communication across all levels of the organization.
Ensure operational excellence by monitoring activity (including sales and record control), tracking performance against organizational objectives, and maintaining productivity, safety standards, quality control, and cost-efficiency measures.
The ideal candidate will have:
Minimum of 2 years of experience in warehouse or logistics leadership, with specific experience in warehouse fulfillment or e-commerce management (onsite ordering, picking, packing, and shipping).
Strong knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and skills in monitoring daily production goals to dynamically meet company Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
Proven ability in resolving conflicts, managing team dynamics, and maintaining effective working relationships with co-workers and other business areas.
Physical requirements lifting at least 40 lbs, with a willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends as needed, in environments with varying temperatures and noise levels. Frequent walking, carrying, reaching, standing, and stooping. Note: After an offer is accepted, all selected applicants must successfully complete a background check and drug screening.
Salary: $75,000- $85,000
