What You Will Achieve

  • Serve as a key resource and potentially lead lower levels within your area of expertise.
  • Manage personal time, professional development, and workflow, while possibly leading and allocating work to others.
  • Contribute to project and departmental tasks, providing direction, training, and potentially acting as a lead worker.
  • Be recognized as a "LEAD" or "Subject Matter Expert" and proactively resolve basic complexity problems.
  • Complete assignments independently, selecting appropriate methods, and ensuring team assignments are completed.
  • Review non-standard work for technical soundness and potentially review others' work.
  • Adhere to Pfizer standards, guidelines, and values, influencing teams, and training others.
  • Maintain storage, security, and records for all drug movements, focusing on controlled drugs during manufacturing and distribution.
  • Conduct quarterly import entry and internal audits, ensuring compliance with SOPs, cGMP, safety, quality, and documentation requirements.
  • Coordinate receiving, storage, picking, and dispatching of inventory, manage finished goods dispatch, and identify and coordinate necessary training for operators.
  • Distribute workload evenly to all colleagues within the team so all are busy at all times.
  • Identify and report Safety concerns including working safely while performing daily tasks.
  • Complete any other task deemed necessary and assigned by a Warehouse Manager or Distribution Center Manager.

Here Is What You Need (Minimum Requirements)

  • High School Diploma or GED and 6+ years of experience or bachelor's degree and 3+ years of experience.
  • Experience in warehouse or inventory management.
  • Experience leading team members.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Software
  • In depth knowledge of SAP area specific functions, a level of proficiency in emails skills, business intelligence and phone etiquette.
  • Adhere to all cGMP, FDA guidelines and laws, and corporate expectations.
  • Intellectual and cognitive abilities to complete investigations and develop solutions.

Bonus Points If You Have (Preferred Requirements)

  • Certification in assigned area.
  • Experience in a pharmaceutical or other Current Good Manufacturing Practice (cGMP) environment.
  • Understanding of Import/Export regulations
  • Expertise in completing investigations.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in documentation.

  
 

PHYSICAL/MENTAL REQUIREMENTS

•    Normal Indoor/Mfg/Main/Production Warehouse. Long hours spent standing and walking on concrete on the Warehouse floor or sitting are required.
•    Sometimes additional hours are required as the business levels dictate. These may include evenings and weekends on occasion. Some lifting of packages of up to 40 lbs may be required.
 

NON-STANDARD WORK SCHEDULE, TRAVEL OR ENVIRONMENT REQUIREMENTS

•    Standard work hours 10 am - 6:30 pm with overtime and weekends as needed.

•   Ability to work in cold environments.

The salary for this position ranges from $23.99 to $39.99 per hour. In addition, this position offers eligibility for overtime, weekend, holiday and other pay premiums depending on the work schedule and the Company’s policies.
