Warehouse Associate - Receiving and Materials Inspection

This role is responsible for supporting the Domestic Operations Team to determine daily priorities. Balance inspection, receiving, and bundling responsibilities to complete all tasks in an effective and efficient manner.
This role is required on site in Bozeman, MT.
Responsibilities:
Shipping and Receiving:
•    Shipping backup as needed. Currently doing all shipping minus CMs
o    Process outgoing shipments for USPS, UPS, and FedEx.
•    Receive all incoming materials. 
o    Inspect to ensure product and goods are not damaged: box is sealed properly or if punctured, check for any damage. Account for all products before signing for packages. If receiving freight, make sure freight driver notes any damage on Bill of Lading (BOL).
o    Compare received individual packing list and account for all boxes. Each box must have the correct product, quantity, color and look for any other damage.
o    Date, initial and note any discrepancies on packing list. Write on the outside of box: date, box product color, size & description (hardware only).
o    Log receipts in ERP software.
o    Serve as backup for receiving non-materials deliveries.
•    Material Inspection
o    Perform visual inspection of incoming goods to ensure adherence to MYSTERY RANCH quality standards.
o    Perform testing of incoming materials as needed.
o    Be able to identify material flaws and shade differences.
o    Generate needed inspection records.
o    Non-compliant materials should be submitted to the Material Review Board.
•    Raw Material Inventory
o    Participate in quarterly inventory counts and cycle counts.
Additional Responsibilities:
•    Materials distribution backup as needed.
o    Assist in the gathering of materials for outgoing TOs to contract manufacturers and Bozeman Production.
•    Printing of thermal labels for domestic and foreign production.
o    Process requests utilizing NetSuite and Production Schedule inputs and information.
o    Design and creation of new labels or styles based on customer requirements,
o    Design and printing of NSN and NFPA labels, including packaging and shipping to contract manufacturers when needed.
•    Label printer maintenance as needed.
•    Clean and maintain machinery, fixtures, tools, and workspaces.
•    Responsible for receiving and sending AQLs 
o    Receiving Transfer Orders and creating Item Receipts and/or Item Fulfillments in NetSuite 
o    Communicating AQL status with multiple teams (Ops, QC, BZN Shipping Group) and locations (internal staff and CMs). 
o    Responsibilities also include booking freight at Logistics Planner’s discretion.
•    Responsible for materials distribution to PDC. This includes raw materials pulls for samples for items not in supermarket
o    Replenishing of supermarket
Environmental and Physical Requirements:

•    Typically located in an indoor area with the possibility of mild discomfort from factors such as dust, material particles, temperature extremes, loud noise, and bright lights. 
•    Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision while preparing materials or sewing, constant looking down while preparing materials or sewing, color vision for identifying fabric, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus when preparing materials or sewing. 
•    Use hands, fingers and arms while reaching for and handling all fabrics and materials. 
•    Frequent periods are spent standing or sitting in the same location with some opportunity to move about. 
•    Communicate, talk, and listen with coworkers. 
•    Lifting or moving objects up to 60 inches from floor level and weighing up to 50 lbs. without assistance. Any product over 50 lbs. requires a teamlift.
•    This is a full-time position based at the Bozeman, MT MYSTERY RANCH headquarters.
Qualifications:
•    High School Diploma or GED
•    High attention to detail
•    Ability to gain knowledge of products and materials
•    Ability to be flexible and switch tasks as priorities change
•    Proficiency with applicable tools
•    Clear and concise writing skills
•    Ability to train in the use of forklift and pallet jack, while adhering to safety rules and regulations
