The Department of Veterinary Clinical Sciences at Louisiana State University is searching for a Radiology and Clinical Skills Instructor/Educator. This position is non-tenure track. This person will teach laboratory sessions, rounds sessions in Radiology, will teach in the Radiology curriculum in Phase 1 and assist with OSCE's and PBL facilitation within the Clinical Skills program.
Job Responsibilities:
50% Teach Phase II students on Radiology rotation by completing student rounds or by supervising the junior resident as they lead the discussion. Assist with teaching Radiology curriculum to Phase 1 students and with student clubs/organizations associated with Radiology. Will participate in administering and grading Radiology course work and exams.
Assist with resident training by giving rounds but will exclude clinical/active case management.
50% Assist Clinical Skills by teaching and supporting labs focused on Radiology. Participate in administering OSCE's and PBL facilitation. Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
DVM or equivalent degree.
Three years of veterinary experience focused on radiology.
Preferred Qualifications:
DVM or equivalent degree.
Four or more years of veterinary experience focused on radiology.
Two years of experience teaching veterinary students.
